Operating at the highest level of medical malpractice defense in some of the nation’s most complicated cases, Rich Nagle spent more than twenty-five years serving as an advocate and adviser for doctors, health systems, and other providers. After nearly three decades representing healthcare providers, he is now putting that same level of knowledge and advocacy to work for victims. Rich was a founding partner of Hancock, Daniel, Johnson & Nagle (HDJN), a medical malpractice defense firm that since 2010 has been recognized as a national Tier 1 law firm by U.S. News – Best Lawyers.

“Litigating medical malpractice cases is a skill that builds over years of hard work. It requires an understanding of the legal process and the medical system and demands the ability to be quick on your feet in the courtroom,” says Rich. Over the years, Rich has honed his ability to communicate complex medical issues to jurors, translating into a successful track record in and out of the courtroom. Rich has litigated cases involving nearly every medical specialty, with recognized expertise in the high-stakes world of complex birth injury cases.
